do you think the Vikings inability to stop Travis Kelce and his one healthy ankle had anything to do with their loss
Kelce just wide open on his tuddy Again. I implore teams to guard him. he ran a 1yd turn around hitch. 5 yr cushion in every direction. At the goal line. Almost impossible to do.
I will say the NFL put their refs in an unfavorable position with the Taylor Swift stuff. It's bad enough having everyone assume they're for the chiefs but having the NFL cheerlead it is so extra
I genuienly do not understand why teams don't just have 4 people on the field designated to hitting Travis Kelce every single second of every single play lol. If you lose because MVS, oh well.
"The Chiefs are 3-0 since becoming Swifties" makes "put your helmet back on" look less like a ref being reasonable, and more like a coverup lol
tbh only half watched the game yesterday but apparenly MVS & Skyy Moore combined only had 4 targets and caught 3 of them. MVS had 65% of the snaps, Moore had 56% they're not getting open, they're not getting targeted, not producing at all and Kelce is still being productive
Oh we doing the “teams don’t guard Travis Kelce” thing again? because the playcall there definitely did guard him. The CB just wasn’t smart enough to know that when Kelce improvised to the middle of the field once Mahomes started to scramble, he was the one that should’ve followed him since the LBs job was to stop Mahomes from running.
As I said before, he’s really sneaky at improvising and finding holes in the zone that wouldn’t have been there if he just ran the route normally. Kelce reads coverages and reads Mahomes at an elite level and that’s why he’s so good. It’s not just teams leaving him open intentionally or forgetting to cover him or whatever. He knew he had cover 3 there and that the CB assigned to him pre-snap by design, might not follow him if he got closer to Mahomes to help him out. But that’s not “leaving him open”. That’s Kelce understanding how Cover 3 is attempting to take the whole play away and knowing how to respond.
