Every time I watch the end of a Seahawks game they're getting into a fight with the team kneeling the ball

The strength of our defense is the secondary

Y'all should have exploited the shitty LB corp and porous run defense better

I never get why y'all suck against this team either, but i always expect it

It sucks that Trevor mostly had a solid game but still made 3 bad mistakes and that was enough to look bad in the box score

    1) not keeping that RPO when he only had one out-of-position man to beat to get to the end zone

    2) throwing that damn red zone INT when Stingley was standing right there

    3) not seeing Marvin Jones wide open on a post on the second to last drive’s 4th and 10 because he locked onto Engram, even though TE double moves rarely get that open if you don’t have a Kelce-like threat

that’s 3 scoring opportunities we only got 3 points out of when we should’ve had at least 9 - and preferably at least one of the first two scores a touchdown so you’re not cornered into a 4th and 10 situation down by a TD late in the game to begin with

But I would absolutely say several incompletions were the WR’s fault (I counted at least 4 blatant drops - one each from Zay Jones, Dan Arnold, Evan Engram, Travis Etienne - and a couple route running mistakes as well where Trevor saw the hole in the zone but the WR ran too shallow)

and I would also say we can’t execute in two minute drills and in the red zone entirely because we don’t have a sideline threat. None of our receivers is physical / tall enough to box out or Moss a CB, none of them is explosive enough to be a burner on posts and double moves, and now that defenses have adjusted to our WRs strong points… obviously overpaid Christian Kirk has been a nothing the last two weeks

I also hated Travon Walker’s decision to throw Davis in a spinning 720 motion onto the turf on THIRD AND 20, the taste of that is hard to wash out. We hold the Texans without a touchdown and get one more really good opportunity to take the lead if he doesn’t do that. Terrible choice to take out his frustration on the QB, yeah he encroached early but it’s still 3rd and 15 without the personal foul

And I was salty about the missed fumble call at the goal line… but it was understandably close enough that the ref couldn’t see it in real time, nor could he conclusively overturn the call

just an all around wet fart by our team at every opportunity to close the door on Houston

I also have criticism for Doug Pederson:

    1) give me more aggressive plays on first down. I hate always trying to come out gimmicky and having to make up lost momentum when it doesn’t work. I wanna see more 12-20 yard, straight up passing concepts on first down - especially against a zone heavy team; we should be throwing floods and unders and clear outs and doubles-formation double posts and all kinds of zone beaters at them early, get more chunks of yards and fewer third downs, and try to coax them into playing too aggressive / improvising & cheating too much toward routes, and leaving receivers open in their zones.

    2) the runningbacks are obviously the best part of the offense - USE THEM IN THE RED ZONE! Why are you having Trevor try to make something happen against a cover 2 defense from 10 yards out? Cover 2’s best trait is it covers the short pass beautifully if the safeties don’t have to get a lot of depth, it’s worst trait is it spreads the linebackers too wide to stop short yardage runs. It should be a no brainer that we are running in the red zone and daring them to get outside their comfort zone to stop it.
