definitely. but I don't see how this game helps his case.

also there is still three quarters of the season left so declaring anyone should win the MVP at this point is ridiculous.

I don’t think anyone is saying Wilson will 100% be the MVP. He just is so far.

Wilson, Rodgers, and Allen are the clear front runners but it’s only week 5! A little early to start calling it for anyone. I wouldn’t be shocked if Mahomes goes on a run and takes it by the end of the year. Then again the nfl might only be able to keep up this charade of a season for another week or two and in that case I want to see Allen win just because why the hell not.

 

How is anyone saying that was a bad game for Wilson? He started 15/15 or something. Yeah he had a pick (or 2?) but what was his final QBR?

edit: hmm I guess he ended up 20/32 3/1 for 70.5. Definitely not great but also added yards on the ground and led a game winning drive of 90+ yards in the rain.

 

To be fair it was his lowest completion percentage rate, most sacks, and least yards in a game this year.

 

Wilson is the MVP if the season ended today. Josh Allen is a very worthy runner up. if he hasn't already, Wilson is going to start getting those 'narrative voters' attention. Almost seems to be a forgone conclusion that he'll get it this season unless something drastic happens.

 

this may be true, but, after all it is record that determines things come january - so - them boys gotta get wins.

 

Aaron Rodgers is right there with Russell Wilson for the MVP award. I think Russ would win if they voted today, but Rodgers has been doing more with less.

Josh Allen has a shot at it too.

 

Vikings are trash do not get it twisted.

 

also it's a narrative based award so unless Rodgers goes supernova the rest of the year it's gonna go to Wilson or Allen - which is fine.

Been said before, but feels like the Saints would be a much better offense if they just used their best players
