It’s fine that Cleveland lost this game, I always thought it was a toss up and I assumed the Browns would go around 8-8 at best. People who had them 10-6 or 11-5 were crazy imo but with that said, only 3 points? Yeah, that’s where the issue lies (along with Baker’s performance).

 

Baker Mayfield can't read a defense. He's never been asked to do it. Kitchens is giving him one read on every pass play and then he's bailing out of the pocket.

DCs have him figured out right now.

 

Let this be a lesson for anyone watching film on Jalen Hurts

 

Oklahoma QB's always get entirely too much credit for their performances each year. No one in the Big 12 has a pass rush and the receivers get so much separation on every play it's laughable. Also, tackling is flat out horrendous in that league. I can't count how many times I've seen simple bubble screens and passes to the flats turn into 70 yard touchdowns.
