Idk I just think the treatment of Rosen is extremely inconsistent with the treatment of other QBs and everyone just wants to see him succeed because we're armchair scouts and pretty throws = success.

 

No one is babying Rosen. I'm holding him to the same standards as Mayfield and Darnold, both of whom had lower QBRs in their first two career starts but aren't hated. Why even do we hate Rosen?

 

Hey, I get your point. I never said dak sucks or had any of that criticsm so I agree with you. I've just watched a lot of cards since the beginning of the season and just about everything is at least below average.

I'm just saying they are rookies. They aren't playing on good teams. Rosen is playing on the worst of the three too.

 

Rosen is a bottom 5 starting QB right now, so if you want to call him that, that’s fine

It’s also been 1.5 games for a rookie QB so I think it’s way too early to say he’s bad

I'm not saying he's bad, just that the hype in this thread and amongst my friends is VERY VERY VERY overblown and that Rosen comes across as a diva and I don't want him to succeed

 

Reminder how awful darnold looked the last two weeks, at least half of it was brutally bad playcalling. This week a mix of the broncos sucking, making awesome throws and the running game actually worked made him look great.

 

Mayfield, Darnold, and Rosen will all be fine. All three have shown flashes of why they were held in such high esteem and also shown that their flaws didn't magically get ironed out since being drafted. Only one who has to worry is Buffalo lol.

My hopes for Buffalo on draft day was

1. Mayfield
2. Rosen
3. Darnold
4. Allen

I think I still would rank them this way.
