Oh yeah, top 6 teams per conference playoffs regardless of division winners would be great.

Browns/Lions/Colts/Bears makes the most sense IMO

I just hate that the Dolphins' 3 division mates are all ~1,500 miles away

I know there are other teams that have it worse though

 

They (Seattle/KC) have it worse because they have to. There's no god damn reason for Indianapolis to be the South but Miami be the East.

Rough draft 1:
-18 week season, each team has 16 games and 2 bye weeks.
-3 week preseason.
-Reverse the change in emphasis of the Mel Blount rule (aka reverse the Ty Law+Richard Sherman rules). Keep the Mel Blount rule itself.
-No changes to playoffs, they're fine and y'all are babies.
-Allow challenges within 2 minutes of end of half but make them cost 2 timeouts.
-Allow challenging a terrible ass penalty. (This only works in one direction, aka you can't challenge that a ref missed a penalty but you can challenge saying a ref called a garbage penalty.) Since there are still only 2 challenges available with a max of 3 I don't think this would cause any issues.
-Let players use props in celebrations.
-Require each owner to invest in a post-playing career foundation that helps all former players who have played >1 year with various things including their mental health, providing counseling, managing their wealth, etc.
-Fully GTD contracts.
-Replace Troy Aikman with Ron Wolfley.
-Hall Of Fame game is previous season's last place team playing @ Alabama (in Canton but with last place team having choice of coin flip etc).

Can't think of which one you're referring to but now that you mention it (in case it is this one) that weird ass "forward progress therefore no fumble" rule that kept coming up in the TEN@KC playoff game last year needs to change

New rule: If the Lions manage to uncover another obscure rule it won't actually count as a penalty towards them in that game
