on the flip side, I'd wanna see some TANGIBLE improvement in society in everything from global warming, to opposing fascism, to breaking up oligopolies by enforcing anti-trust laws, to price & rent controls finally being put on our economy, to society actually wanting to learn something from history and from diversity rather than trying to crush/erase it, to healthcare being more accessible to non-rich folks, etc. before I had kids

And ALL those things are moving in the opposite direction. Worried about the possibility of bringing a kid in this world just to be a climate refugee or killed by a cop or to be persecuted by our horrible government for their gender or sex orientation etc
