Also Bosa is an alt rightist Josh Allen is a consummate professional who gives back to his community constantly, and has prioritized his family over fame and luxury, and has continued to be the vocal leader of the defense through Urban Meyer, two years of being the worst team, and a drastic rebuild I am biased and I don’t care. Josh Allen at 7 > Nick Bosa at 2
I disagree with this, he’s always had a ton of talent around him. Josh Allen only has had that his rookie year and this year. (Which are going to be the two years so far that he’s had double digit sacks.)
Josh Allen might not get MVP or DPOY votes, I never said Allen IS Bosa. Don’t misrepresent my argument. but put him in San Francisco and he’d definitely have had more 12-15 sack seasons.
Fair. We can end it here. I just still think Josh Allen shoulda gone top 5 in that draft and we got, our best franchise piece on defense, at pick 7.
well, also considering that the vast majority of edge rushers with his pressure / hit / hurry / pass rush win rate numbers DID get double digit sacks
We finally don’t have a bad defense, and Josh Allen has 6 sacks in less than a quarter of the season. Our defense had a few flashes of good play last year, and he had four forced fumbles, 2 recovered, and a division-win-sealing TD last year plus a sack and 8 tackles in the playoff win vs LAC. as a rookie, the only other time we’ve had good defense, he had more sacks and forced fumbles than Bosa did as a rookie. We can call Bosa elite, but Josh Allen is immediately in the next tier.
Like I’d rate Bosa 96 in Madden… Josh Allen is 90 if not 91 or 92. put it that way. (Factoring in his better speed and better coverage)
