It was 30+ mph winds and the rain got worse and worse the whole game so forgive me if I don’t take ANY Jags criticism today seriously. It took 4 fumbles and an INT that was entirely the fault of Christian Kirk not jumping for the ball for the Eagles to win so I’m not so sure Philly fans should crown themselves yet

I’m not using the rain as an EXCUSE - the Florida team definitely should’ve had an advantage in the rain if anything considering they practiced in it all summer - but I am gonna say the Jags and Lawrence clearly weren’t themselves today.

the more mature / experienced team won in bad weather today, that’s what happens. Maybe a different story if this game happened next year when all our young talent had a whole year under Pederson to develop.

okay but the interception was very much so on Lawrence and Kirk jumping couldn't have made a difference.

I didn’t watch the game but y’all should still be proud of how you did. The Eagles are really good and the jags put up a fight, but even with the L I think the jags have enough sense to learn from the loss.

It absolutely was. Lawrence stared Kirk down from the snap. Kirk is "backing away" because it's a route. I agree committing OPI is better than giving up the INT though

 

You don’t stay running backward when the ball is behind you, you stop in your tracks and high point it. It was a very windy day, passes were inaccurate on both sides. Kirk should’ve at least known coverage was over the top and tried to box them out

 

5 bad turnovers and still a one-possession loss on the road. Can't be too upset. 90%+ of the time that game is a win.

Kirk would not have been able to do that. If he did that, he misses and Bradberry still gets the pick.
