Yeah an MVP winner probably does win that game vs a rookie in his 4th game but this year or last year Cam doesn’t put a point on the board haha
Can you just go back to your usual schtick of complaining about Rodgers either sucking or being the greatest human being alive depending on the drive
2020-2021 Cam Newton lead offense doesn’t get to 3 against the Bucs. Their defense is an INCREDIBLY bad matchup for the one thing Cam does kinda well still.
I don’t know if this means he’s good or bad. I know you think Jaire sucks now which is kinda funny lol
For all the talk of this game being Brady vs Belichick, ironic for it to end on such a stupid coaching decision because I thought the Pats called a near perfect game in every phase today. The defense played extremely well.
folklore is a great album Jaire has regressed a bit but he should be fine as long as he didn’t break his collarbone today
Yeah I’m really not sure it was a bad decision. It just didn’t worked. Folk hit it in pregame and bad the leg, just a game of inches.
I am up by one point with Herbert left while my opponent has Williams/Carlson left so no let’s cancel the game and let me have the win
Oh, I'll say 100% that having a franchise QB is more important than the HC. See: Green Bay. But Belichick took that 16-0 team and still got 11-5 without Brady. He still got 7-9 with one of the worst seasons from a QB who started basically every game that I can think of. I'd say undeniably the best HC of the era, but obviously blessed to also have the greatest QB of all time. But if he had Philip Rivers instead of Brady, it does feel like he'd still have multiple SBs, etc.
I mean sure but it’s 4th down with a chance to take the lead. If you’re confident you can take the lead, you go for it and trust your defense that has held them in check most of the night.
I think I would have rather them go for it than set up to kick it because mac was moving the ball pretty easily the last few drives, and they could have potentially set up for a close FG attempt while also burning through more time. but what do I know
I think it’s a 50/50 call. If you go for it and don’t make it the obvious criticism is “how do you give up an opportunity to take the lead??” If you kick it and make it, it’s brilliant. this is simply letting the result guide the reaction.
Its funny because Belichick is usually at the cutting edge of making decisions to go for it (see: that 4th down he went for late in a game on like his own 25).
I know NextGen specifically mentioned the weather, so not sure if ESPNs takes that into account as much. I could easily see that being most of the difference (if ESPN thinks he makes the kick 55% of the time, and NextGen thinks 45% of the time...the win probably math takes huge swings from there)
