That Donald sack is proof the roughing the passer rule makes no sense. That hurts the QB way more than the “weight” piece of the rule.

 

Im from north-central pa, most of my friends are bills fans. Really, I feel for them. Games like that seem to happen every year and they get this false hope that keeps them showing up and getting slammed through tables.

I'm positive I'd rather be thrown down like that than get hit full force and then have around 300 pounds slam on top of me.

Here’s a thought that would have been crazy to try to envision last year:

MIN vs LAR was a shootout?? What the flying fuck haha. Both QBs had 400+ yard 4+ TD games against top 4 defenses in the league.

That’s nuts. Goff and Cousins are both REALLY good. I am especially impressed Goff has come this far this fast. That’s a #1 OVR pick quarterback right there. He has learned NFL footwork just fine despite coming from a spread, and that transition has not affected the superb accuracy and decisive reads he was drafted for. He put the RIGHT velocity and angle on the ball on a regular basis, and stayed tight in the pocket except on designed rollouts.

Also Cousins is dealing with his awful O Line VERY well, proving me wrong when I asserted that he might not live up to the hype. He used to get real skittish under pressure in Washington and it made me think he only played so well cause they had a good line. He’s clearly grown as a QB.

 

Diggs and Thielen are the best pair of route runners in the league and I am not sure its even close

 

True right now, but Hopkins/Fuller and Julio/Ridley are heading that direction

Calvin Ridley's 3 TDs last week were all earned with advanced route running techniques. Saints pass D is booty but you can also tell that Ridley has been soaking up tons of tips from Julio and applying some complex ideas to his game already.
