This is worse than Tony Sparano and Brian Schottenheimer so far.

Bates has Darnold in an empty set nearly the entire game against one of the best defenses in the NFL. I'm just glad he stopped that screen garbage early when he realized the obvious: Jack and Smith are too fast for that trash.

I think there was a time when screens made sense the last two weeks and he wouldn't even try them when facing much worse LBs, it seems like he's not very good at this.
