Actually yeah it looks like that defender wasn't trying to hit with his head. I mean, he still did so that is still a penalty but he very clearly was not trying to injure him and was expecting a catch

 

Yeah I have no problem with the flag. The rule states head to head contact is solely on the defender in that situation. Unfortunate hit, feel bad Waddle’s hurt, but def not dirty in my mind.

I'm torn because this is the exact kind of game Denver would win and Miami would drop but on the other hand it defies all actual logic.

 

Miami has @ Buffalo next week, so I am worried about the classic look-ahead trap game.

on the other hand, it is the home opener and the crowd should be wild

 

yeah i could totally see them dropping this one but putting up like 35 on Buffalo next week.
