I will be so sad if we waste my favorite roster the Jaguars have had since the 90s on bad coaching, playcalling and discipline

 

You realize I'm not talking about this season right? Never once brought that up haha

 

Jack Del Rio certainly took worse Jaguars teams to the playoffs.

 

Still not sold on him for the raiders. Now I'm thinking there could be like 6 hc jobs available this year lol

 

I think the problem is the Raiders still use really bad linebackers. Khalil Mack is a fantastic DE don't get me wrong but I figured they picked a hybrid guy because they have basically no one in the middle of the field who is good at shedding blocks or taking aggressive angles to the ball. Which is still true even after their crazy offseason.

The Falcons have the exact same problem. Highly talented secondary, terrible linebackers, you might be making plays on downfield passes but you ain't stopping teams from getting first downs.

 

What the hell happened to Sean Smith

 

he had more help on in-breaking routes in a 3-4 with more linebackers covering the middle, so he was able to focus on his strengths as a sideline/vertical corner in KC

now teams are torching him over the middle because he truly is man-up and forced to cover more of the field, highlighting the stiffness in his hips

 

The raiders actually gave up like a million yards to Te the first two games... Like... Yeea. If they wanted they could still use Mack as a rusher and a olb, I dont get that.

Also, these Pats jerseys are 1000% better than their regular ones
