Just curious: what’s the interest level you guys have in next weeks SNF Bucs/Pats game as a non Pats/Bucs fan?
ah gotcha. And I feel like I’ve asked that two or three times before and can never remember lol. Tucker is the guy with the crazy eyes right? I feel like I remember a meme/gif of the zoom in on his huuuge eyes after a surprise miss
5 out of 10 mostly to see if Bill tries anything super bizarre on defense to confuse Tom because if anyone knows Tom it’s Bill. But in actuality Bill will say this is “just another game” and it will probably play out that way so 5 out of 10 for me edit: or to see if Tom tries to throw 10 touchdowns and destroy the Patriots defense
although maybe a bonus point for Tom (if Tampa Bay wins) becoming like the 3rd QB to beat every franchise (or at least every current franchise or however that works. I think Favre and Manning are the only two to do it but Favre beating the Oilers and the Texans so he gets a weird asterisk next to his achievement)
It actually makes me less interested because it’s gonna be talked about ad nauseam for the next week. The ad they showed during tonight’s game was so lame.
lmao Lance to save the day after Jimmy almost makes several huge mistakes inside the 5. just play Lance as if he’s Kap who destroyed the Pack and SF should be fine, duh
I watched the lions game outside on mute so i had no idea about the missed delay of game call. How perfect that the refs found yet another way to make a painful loss even more so
Kudos for the gutsy call to go for it on 4th and goal when a FG is still needed eventually for a tie scenario. Would have been mighty deflating to not get anything there and most coaches would have kicked the FG without even considering going for it
Honestly, like 9.5 out of 10. Two of the pettiest/most self-motivating people in the game...the week-to build is going to be a battle of saying absolutely nothing but the vaguest of platitudes. And if either team gets the chance to blow out the other, the game ends like 48-3 with the winning team going for two late in the 4th quarter just because. Brady is gonna be determined to hang a huge number on the Pats (especially after this Rams loss), and that usually either means he does or he plays so spectacularly bad its also worth watching (see: Saints game last year)
