We had that momentum. That block holds and that's a TD that's literally proof that the play call was fine and the fault is on an individual player (or players cause Lawrence fucked it up too)

Chargers are so dumb

 

its a play that takes an extremely long time to develop and Lawrence’s only “check down” was an iso sideline route to one of our god awful tight ends, against a CB. “It would have been a touchdown” doesn’t matter, “if that JJ Watt block holds” is weak justification…. We took a risk with one of the slowest to develop and least risk mitigating plays in the play book and we got burned. Again, we only ran the ball well for one drive, that’s not long enough of a diversion to fool the defense that badly, but the game WAS still close enough for us to throw it away if it blew up in our face
