From the studies to date, pretty much...the 15 minute number is direct from the CDC. Its the same principle the NBA operates on (though they actually have buzzers that sound if you're in close proximity for more than like 15s).

You get COVID from prolonged exposure to a person with it and/or by being in a space with someone who has it where it travels via the air system (so, being at the next table over at a restaurant and the AC is pushing air your way).

Also quite possible a few players will test positive over the next week and that he was just the first one to have it show
