It was pointed out on a chiefs podcast but it is kinda crazy, those 5 games were all in 2 calendar years

It is true that Burrow is the only qb aside from Brady to beat Pat in the playoffs but buddy, Joe Burrow isn’t Tom Brady

 

The QB head to head stuff is incredibly overblown anyway, people talk about Burrow like he’s in a completely different stratosphere because “he beat Mahomes” once and it’s getting progressively harder to justify

 

Yep. Bengals defense does seem to really do well against the Chiefs though

 

The level to which the Bills own the Dolphins is statistically kinda mind blowing.

to be clear, their strategy for replacing a STARTING safety (with no other injuries to the safety room) was “eh, let’s just sign a dude off the street mid-week who wasn’t good enough to make the practice squad (or anyone else’s team or practice squad) and start him”

SB run was a fluke. they gonna get embarrassed this weekend

Never forget that that one Bengals run consisted of them taking on the dreaded Raiders and Titans who were both extremely mid and still sacked Burrow into oblivion

I get the comparison. Both have been propped up by their players and coordinators. It seems blatantly obvious at this point

It was truly unbelievable, especially when you consider he was coming off a torn ACL that season

 

but yeah the further we get from the SB run, the more obvious it is how deeply flawed that team was but the ball bounced their way a LOT that year. The defense was mid but they got opportune turnovers when it mattered. They ended the Raiders game with a Carr INT. They picked off Tannehill (twice I think?) and picked off Mahomes in OT to get them into FG range. Hell even in the Ravens playoff game the year after (against the dreaded Josh Johnson), it took a 100 yard Sam Hubbard strip to win the game

The ONLY Burrow playoff game they looked 100% complete in was the snow game in Buffalo. They dominated start to finish. All those other times, not so much

 

At least it was a fun run
