Denver’s best players so far is a guard and a defensive end. Sick

I promise you not a single pressure from an Eagles player mattered last night

It’s okay to disagree though. I get the opposing viewpoint. I just think it’s a joke stat

I think it’s a stat that requires context. It tells you something but not an awful lot by itself.

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

Yeah, I’m sure pressure is a great stat in context. PFF never provides context though, which is why I don’t have much regard for that ranking lol

People are quick to point out meaningless sacks where someone just happens to be in the right place at the right time as if meaningless pressures, such as free rushers on a screen pass, don’t happen all the time too

Yeah context is obviously the most important thing, but, at the end of the day, I want to see sacks because those can end drives. Pressures can lead to interceptions, sure, but they can also lead to first downs because the QB probably isn’t too concerned about the rusher anyway

    Lets Go. Prestigious

I think the point is that pressures and pressure rate can typically be duplicated as a defensive player from year to year, whereas sacks might not be able to

I think Chop Robinson will be a good test for this in his NFL career, because he had tons of pressures in college, but not many actual sacks.

When you hit a mothafucka, you hit that mothafucka Prestigious

It’s good to be skeptical of context but I still think pressures is a good stat strictly because the best pass rushers are consistently the ones getting the most pressures

probably because pressures aren’t necessarily inflated more for one position than others, everybody’s pressure numbers get inflated by the same meaningless types of pressures
