I changed my mind the rule doesn't really make sense. A fumble anywhere else on the field that goes out is being spotted where the ball came out, this should be no different
These are the correct answers. Fumble into the end zone, you get the ball back where you fumbled. That its a change of possession is just so illogical.
I kinda like the rule because otherwise it feels like the offense can get super aggressive with the stretching out for it knowing if they cross they score, if they fumble but it goes out of bounds they keep it, if they fumble but recover in the end zone they score, and the only way it's negative is if defense recovers?
