Perfect example of Herbert overrated Mahomes underrated right there

Mahomes can make that throw all day and actually had a throw that nice on his second touchdown. When Herbie does it people act like he’s inhuman but when Mahomes does it people are so used to it that they take it for granted.

But can Herbie shuffle sideways and literally turn backward to avoid a pass rusher, and then sidearm a pass across his body between two defenders into Jerick McKinnon like Mahomes did on his first TD?

 

It seems sorta like people thought Mahomes would regress a bit because he doesn’t have a top 1 percentile speed threat anymore like he did with Tyreek Hill. But he’s still the next QB1 after Rodgers and Brady, no one has usurped his heir to the throne yet

I am personally of the opinion he’s going to develop into a more mature passer now that he doesn’t have a cheat code to throw go routes to 8 times a game lol. And I am here for finally having him in fantasy now that Hill is gone and I feel comfortable rooting for the Chiefs again lol

 

I mean look at this shit. It’s not only that he has an elite deep ball but he is an A++++++ in the short passing / red zone game too. This is a Mahomes brand play that a lot of great QBs couldnt pull off

Is anyone saying Herbert is better than mahomes? I don't think so.

 

I’ve been really low key about how damn much I love Patrick Mahomes cause the Chiefs kept signing abusers (Kareem Hunt, Tyreek Hill, Frank Clark etc) and I didn’t want to see them succeed. I mean they still have Clark and that sucks.

But he’s so unreal, his film is ridiculous, he does so many things QBs generally shouldn’t try to do and is actually consistent about pulling off those things

 

No but people overreact like crazy about Herbert when he does things that Mahomes literally does all the time haha

 

Yeah I am pretty close to already putting Mahomes above Rodgers because he can do it when his team his behind and he is racking up playoff wins. He’s already been to more Superbowls than Rodgers and has the 50 td season. Rodgers’ 4 mvps are keeping him a little ahead for me but the front running and playoff duds are letting Mahomes leap frog him earlier than he should. Oh also Rodgers is a right wing dipshit so I want to root against him.

I also still can’t count out Brady though. Like, Rodgers has never been QB1 because of Brady lol. Brady is ultimately still the king and should still be feared

 

Yeah Brady had earned the benefit of the doubt but I do buy the weight loss stuff this year. He looks skinny as hell, those hits are going to hurt a little worse

 

I’d have Mahomes over Rodgers and Brady, except Brady beat Mahomes in that superbowl at age 43. That was like, honestly shocking to me. and I was really salty about it too lol

 

Well it was hard for mahomes to play well when he was being thrown to the ground every play.

 

Brady’s first win over Mahomes was really impressive. Back and forth game when Mahomes was taking the league by storm and Brady got the ball with like 5 minutes left and just threw little passes to eat up the whole clock and kicked a chip shot field goal to win it. Nobody wins like Brady, can’t take that away from him.

 

i hated it so much and he just drank the salt of my tears like Gatorade.

 

That said, I finally stopped being salty and realized you can’t do anything but respect it, when he made that 3:28 PM social media video right before a rivalry game with Atlanta last season. That was ice cold and only the most savage competitor would think of that lmao… Like, he WON that superbowl and still holds a grudge about even allowing himself to almost lose lmao
