The ONLY good thing about the Antonio Brown saga's end is that I weeded out so many shitty people from my life as a result of it. My goal of making my circle smaller is going well.
I really hope so too, and I hope it's something the NFL will act on, but I have no hope on the Patriots doing anything. They could've easily waited a week (it's not like they needed the competitive edge of Antonio Brown for Miami) and been cautious even if they didn't want to immediately release or suspend him...but instead they started him and that's a big enough statement from the organization for me on where they stand - even if they go back and suspend him/release him after more comes to light.
Oh me too ! Especially a lot of reporters I had a lot of respect for on Twitter, the whole thing sucks.
And I had finally come around to not hating Brady and now he's all buddy-buddy with Antonio Brown haha fuck him
If I was on the Patriots I'd ask to be released or traded, yeah I'm that type of guy. Standards and morals aren't a thing in the NFL sadly.
I think we all forget that the Patriots will face the New York Football Giants in week 6 and get a shalackin of a beatdown.
I woke up this morning feeling better about the game, one thing I was happy about was seeing Wentz put the team on his back and carry them. Unfortunately the rest of the team couldn't pull it together and help him out.
Y'all are sick now? Just wait until February when AB and the Pats are holding up that Lombardi trophy.
I really think it's too good to be true for them This reeks of 2007 and reeks of a major upset in the SB
Also as much as I resent AB and the Patriots in general, I want to hear more about this story or him. Was listening to Bomani Jones’s podcast and he did a little segment about AB and the accusations and he made the point, you don’t get any points for being right at first. Obviously I want to support the accuser and listen to everything she may have to say. I’m not standing with AB at all but I’d like to see how this plays out
I'm posting this mainly because of the Eagles-Falcons game where Collinsworth said "Holding should be a 5 yard penalty". He was making the point that committing a hold shouldn't completely kill your drive. I actually think I agree with him on that...but if so refs need to start actually calling holds even if they're against stars like JJ/Von/Mack/Donald. If refs are blatantly admitting "yeah we're just not gonna call it" some kind of rule needs to change, even if that rule is changing what defines a hold to make it easier to get away with. Clarity is needed.
I agree with this, and like a hold is such a minor thing. I don't know, it's hard for me to trust the officials.
