I feel like you don’t see it as much or maybe I pay attention less, but I feel like QB’s used to take out their mouth guards and put in/on their helmets after every fucking play and that seems annoying as shit. I get it’s easier to talk without it but like… taking it out and putting in your helmet after every play just seems like a bit much. Just hold it or something idk lol

Yeah I’ve definitely seen players put them there between plays, but Branch keeps one there during plays. I mean, obviously it’s harmless and I imagine he’s actually wearing one, but it’s funky

If that happens five yards further back the cowboys would keep the ball at the spot of the fumble. Should be the same for ones that go out the endzone.
