the Tua injury in Cincy was not even this bad, and after that happened I felt sick to my stomach the rest of the night and I am just a fan

same, well don’t know what I was/wasn’t born with but I had to have ablation surgery to fix a weird arrhythmia, so any heart related really freaks me out. I’m literally half crying here over this I can’t imagine being in that field right now

 

Setting this current situation aside for a sec, that classroom story is terrifying .

 

I was deeply hoping they would call the game. Glad they are least suspending it sigh

This league I heard “5 minutes” and was like WTF??

This game should be postponed/cancelled no way they can play tonight

 

They were doing cpr on him for nine fucking minutes. He’s never going to be the same again. You don’t just bounce back from being out for 9 mins. Glad they’re taking the break.

This is the worst, I really hope they postpone for the players' sake

 

They should just reschedule. Let the players focus on their teammate.

I’ve seen this happen in a couple hockey games (which is fucked up to think about) and they ended up canceling both. There’s no way you can expect players to go back out. Postpone the game & figure out the logistics later.

 

If there isn’t an update that says he’s in stable condition I can’t imagine this game continuing

it’s something I think I’ve repressed at this point as it’s something I forget about until
Something like this comes up and brings up the memory. I wasn’t super good friends with him and it wasn’t my class but it was…pretty traumatic for our entire 8th grade class. Now thinking about it out loud it makes me wonder if that event is why I was/am so freaked out by my own previously mentioned heart issues (which even the cardiologist that did my surgery said wasn’t dangerous or a big deal)

 

This is soul crushing.

 

This is one of the worst injuries I've ever seen in sports. Just horrible.

 

I legitimately wonder if Buffalo just forfeits the game if the NFL won't suspend it because knowing them, they wont.
