He got up like he was fine for a couple seconds and then collapsed. No idea what got of injury has a delayed reaction like that.

It's scaring me after hearing hte CPR thing because in the play it looks like he takes a rough hit directly to the chest, and then falls down on top of the ballcarrier chest first. I hate to speculate but they do say sudden hits like that can stop a heart. Fucking hell.

Sudden heart stoppage takes a few seconds like that.

When I was in 8th grade, a kid in our grade suddenly died like that. Was sitting in his class and all of a sudden said "I think my heart just stopped" and then collapsed a second later.

Fucking scary. I'm like super emotional right now about this and Idk why (beyond normal human being stuff obviously)

 

I haven’t either or can’t recall at least. What’s really odd though is that I think most Madden games until 02 or 03 had an ambulance come on the field for most injuries which seems cold as hell but also like a weird NFL Blitz style choice since it (thankfully) isn’t something seen in real life

 

Yeah speculating is kind of silly at this point but I’ve seen sudden heart stoppage unfortunately and it looked like that. Just collapsed

 

That is truly horrible. As someone who was born with a heart defect I am always sensitive to anything heart related so this stuff scares me

 

I saw they administered oxygen and hooked him up to an IV which is a good sign. But goddamn what a scary injury. I hope he’s ok.
