Strange as hell to me that the NFL put the Chiefs on Saturday before they know the outcome of tonight's game, but whatever.

AFC games with playoff implications are going to be at 1. NFC games with playoff scenarios at 4. Bengals/Ravens SNF.

 

I’m very nervous for the Bills/Bengals game. If anyone is gonna beat us though, I’m glad it’s the Bengals.

 

The Bills/Bengals brolationship is strong. I've had a soft spot for them for years. V nervous as well. It think it will either be super close or the Bengals get absolutely blown out.

That's my professional analysis.

To be fair, Ive followed the Steelers less closely than the league more generally the last few years. The final few Ben years were rough even if we were winning.

really is a shame the Dolphins have repeatedly mismanaged Tua concussions. I bet Tua would’ve missed less time overall and Miami WOULD be in the playoffs if they sat him after the first concussion to begin with

This is why, as a fan, by default you defend players and give THEM the benefit of the doubt, not the team’s brass. To be fair, I initially backed up Jags brass in the Ramsey situation so I’m not throwing stones, that situation was what made me wise up

 

KC and CIN both would need to lose next week. If the Bengals win tonight and the 3 teams all end up at 13-4 then it's CIN, BUF, KC I think based on head to head matchups (Bengals sweep, Bills beat Chiefs)

 

It absolutely kills me when players thank god for winning a game

I have no problem with people being religious - it would be racist to expect otherwise in a league that gets most of its talent from black folks who grew up in very poor towns in the Bible Belt. But football is such a stupid thing to insert religion into lol. Every team ever has about 35-40 players that think god is on THEIR side and if they win they owe it to god. You’re not ALL gods favorite team lol, let alone how silly it is to think a deity would have any stake whatsoever in a sports game

 

lol well in a league whose leadership and players support sexual predators and serial abusers I just don’t have a player thanking god high on my list of quibbles. It’s easy to think this is all part of god’s plan when you’re a rich successful athlete

I suppose I like the, “humility, gratitude and accountability” side of religion more than I like the “frame the entire thing from my own perspective as if I am a leading character of the religion and god prioritizes me over others”
