Giants also went from a team everyone thought was picking top ten in the draft to probably making the playoffs at this point. They still could take a QB, but it’s not like they’re in a position where they could pass on the position with, like, the 7th overall pick and then draft one early in the second. I think bringing back Jones is some capacity makes sense

I don’t think Jones is good either, but I wouldn’t blame them for bringing him back for at least one more year. He’s definitely made some strides this year now that he finally had a competent coaching staff despite absolute nobodies at WR and TE

im not even going to let myself get into it because if you wanna tell me you dont watch giants games without telling me thats on you. the kid is showing ridiculous improvement under a coaching staff that is absolutely going to be here a while and theyre in a position where they can hang on to him for 2-3 years while they continue building the team, and maybe make a few playoff runs.
