    Yes

    1. CJ has regressed, a product of a lackluster, vanilla scheme this season and he hasn't risen above it, deserves more and more blame as the season goes along, no sugar coating

    2. Lack of proactiveness on offense, Slowik has learned absolutely nothing or shown an ability to adapt the scheme to the personnel (prediticable play calling, asking players to do things theyre not good at (cough Schultz is a terrible blocker) etc)

    3. Injuries have been bad this season and it's exposed how shallow the roster still is in spots (DB depth)

    3. Demeco needs to stop protecting as much as he does imo, start being more real with the situation around the offense

This has been a tough season to swallow even though they clinched a playoff berth... they are 1-5 vs teams with a winning record.

If they bring back most of the offensive staff next season they should expect the same result and it will be extremely damning on Demeco being too buddy buddy with his coaches (imo)

    Not good

Steeler only chance at a playoff win would be against the Texans and I’m not sure they can do that at this point.

The thing that bothers me the most this season is it was so obvious how the offense was trending and here we are..

But they could have been proactive, done what the Bills did when they fired Dorsey and you might be looking at a better offense (although it could have been just as bad but atleast you took the chance)

It's just too obvious how things were trending, bummer

Long term I still believe Stroud will be a regular top 10 QB, he's still had 'wow' throws & moments along the way this season, conversely his footwork has gotten shakier as the year has gone on and his accuracy has gotten worse. You don't go from such a stellar rookie year to a complete bum without other factors imo.

The main factor to me is Slowik's structure/scheme. Two seasons in defenses can easily key on what the play will be based on personnel, just bad all around. I liked that Greg Olsen kinda discussed how he doesnt really use mesh/pick concepts to free guys up (which is really needed right now with Nico being the only guy that can separate)

The second factor I tried not to care too much about it but I do think he was doing alittle too much of a 'world tour' this offseason, and it's hard not to look at it sideways based on this season.

There are still not many QBs in the league currently I'd take long term over him, but I don't fault others questioning him after this season

Guys like Lamar and Josh Allen had shaky years early in their careers as well, it wasn't always the player we see today

It’s about time we put the Shanny coaching tree under a microscope

McVay I think is a very good coach. He has proven me wrong.

McDaniel, I am mixed on. I was ready to move on from him earlier this year, but then it seems like he changed things up a bit. I don't really know where I land on him at the moment.

I still think Demeco is good. I don't think that Texans defense is all that talented, and their OL is absolute booty cheeks. Definitely think he deserves a bit more time.

LaFleur is a great coach. I have been down on him before, but he just keeps winning no matter who is on the roster.

O'Connell has turned into one of the best coaches in the league.

    Saleh obviously sucked ass.

Overall, I think its still a lot more good than bad.

Yeah, I get how they all ultimately come from Shanahan, but I’ll take Sean McVay and the guys who’ve worked directly under him (LaFleur, O’Connell) over Kyle Shanahan and the goofballs who’ve worked directly under him (Saleh, McDaniel, DeMeco)
