Here’s my thing, if the Rams score here and kick the PAT they’re up 8. Why not go for 2 and push it to a two score game. If you don’t get it you’re still up 7 and very little harm done.

I feel like this kind of situation comes up a lot and everyone kicks and I’m wondering if I’m just way too aggressive or if the league are pansies lol

 

I think teams should be penalized for playing games like this

 

i think the nfl as a television program is obviously better and watching lamar or josh this year is better than the best CFB QB most years obviously but the average NCAA game is more fun than the average NFL game. we've done this before we don't have to again.

Honestly, I'd like to say its because XPs are still like a 90+% thing while a 2pt conversion is, what, 50%? 45%? Like, right at the line where you dont get an extra expected point from doing so.

But in reality, its surely because the one (non Dan Campbell) coach who does so and loses a game that went into OT on an XP with 5s to go and they lose would just get DUNKED on all week by ESPN/sports radio/probably his own kid
