The Eagles are absolutely stacked on the field. I just do not have confidence in Pickett, nor do I have confidence in the coaching staff to put him in positions to succeed the way Doug Pederson and Frank Reich did with Nick Foles

 

haha that's exactly what i was thinking in it being worthwhile.

 

my hot take is that Pickett will do just enough tomorrow to help the Philly Barkleys escape the cowboys. he'll actually have time to practice with the first team and they'll have game planned (tho i guess since Sirianni sucks who knows about this part lol).

The thing about game-planning is that the first 15 plays or so are scripted and the rest of the plays from there are usually what teams have done in the past.

Based on this season, the only season both Sirianni and Kellen Moore have been with this team for, the Eagles have been one of the least productive teams in the league in the first quarter. It took until this last Sunday against the Commanders for them to score their first first quarter touchdown of the season.

So I’m not confident that Sirianni and Moore will have a good gameplan designed for Pickett. I could be wrong! But they struggled to put points up on the board early in games even with Hurts at quarterback and now they’re playing against a defense that has been playing better since the last time they played against them, but this time it’s with Pickett not Hurts.

I get this but also like what is he good at? Lol the team seems like it’s always overcoming him but he also just wins a lot. At some point you can’t argue with results

 

Exactly! He is good at winning, and winning masks all problems. I’m not saying there may not be underlying problems, but they continue to win and continue to be a contender so it doesn’t matter

 

Sirianni doesn’t get final say over the 53-man roster, he didn’t get to hire his coordinators this offseason, he doesn’t call most of the plays on offense, and he doesn’t call the plays on defense.

The whole thing has been him transitioning into a CEO-type coach like Tomlin and Harbaugh are. King of the vibes and good game management. Well, he’s struggled multiple times this season with in-game decision making.

On top of that, he was seen jawing with Browns players during the game and yelling at Eagles fans at the end of that game, multiple players tweeting out salty bullshit after getting blown out against the Bucs, Brandon Graham stirred up drama between Hurts and Brown, his relationship with Hurts has remained in question, and he’s most recently been getting into an argument with Ertz after losing to the Commanders.

So he’s not even doing the CEO part of his job well! He’s not managing the vibes well!

I believe if you hand anyone, besides Matt Patricia, this roster, they’ll have a winning record. Will they be 12-3? I don’t know, but more than likely a winning record.

All fans and even some media want Sirianni to do is stay out of the way and he can’t even do that. He’s been a hot topic of discussion on multiple occasions this season, which is bad for someone who is supposedly less involved than he’s ever been before!
