Also @CarpetElf after watching a condensed replay last night, i can meet you in the middle some. I’ll start with the bad news:

BUT!!!!

Overall we’re seeing the offense do high-risk low-reward things exactly when they should do the opposite to capitalize on scoring chances, while not being aggressive until we absolutely have to and it’s predictable. Thats my issue with Press. But also unacceptable is the COMPLETE lack of adjustments and wildly unrealistic man coverage expectations on Mike Caldwell’s side. Both coordinators are fuckin up big time. And what’s KILLING me about Doug is he keeps blaming the players and execution in press conferences, never his coordinators for putting them in positions where they have to be PERFECT (Trevor throwing on 3rd and 12 with a bad OL against a defense that hasn’t been forced to respect the run, corners having to man to man cover Mike Evans every third down, etc) and that’s the real underlying problem. So you’re right, if Doug REFUSES to acknowledge that, maybe he’s the problem cause he can’t hold his staff accountable enough.
