This game sucks

 

This is the most boring W of all time but I’ll take it

we protected the football and let our defense do the talking against a bad QB(s)

 

Trevor you do NOT need to be taking hits like that at this point in the game come on

 

I will also take being right about:

-Lawrence RPOs and motion being the way to open up NYJ defense
-Etienne being the only really startable player on either team (Lawrence and Engram were okay but damn was I right to sit Zay Jones)
-Davon Hamilton and Walker Little playing better than Foley Fatukasi and Cam Robinson despite being injury backups
-Devin Lloyd once again looked better than Muma against the pass while Muma once again was plugged in the minute the Jets started having some running success

 

Where were you the last time the Jets made the playoffs


I was a junior in high school

 

One positive thing to take away is that we still only gave up one TD all game, even though we’ve definitely had some shaky moments defensively

Just give me two more boring ass wins against Houston and Tennessee and put up a fight during our first round playoff exit and I’ll be happy. That still means we finished on the favorable side of my projections, and as predicted it’s because Lawrence has arrived, and carried our otherwise average offense to more wins than it deserved
