You potentially might be able to stay put for Zach Wilson. No one else above you will want him (though they could always trade down with another team.) Falcons and Eagles have over $50 mill in dead money on their QBs even though both should be replaced. Timing isn’t right for them yet. Lions are gonna give Stafford one more chance to thrive under a different coach Miami has Tu’a and Cincy has Burrow. And I’m sure the Giants will give Daniel Jones more time. Jags and Jets are likely to go Lawrence / Sewell, Lawrence / Chase, or Lawrence / Fields. y’all are the first team listed after those two that can get rid of their current QB with no issues. And even if Wilson does get snatched up, Fields at 9 is not a bad deal.
What game is going to get flexed next week? I'd imagine they'd want the PIT-CLE, MIA-BUF and BAL-CIN games to all be played at the same time
Fair. It’s just funny / tragic because between him, Ryan, and Wentz he’s the one that needs to be replaced the least, lol
yeah the best course of action is to move up a few spots and make sure but there’s enough skill position talent to push the 2nd and 3rd quarterback down a few picks, and the 2nd and 3rd quarterback this year are better than the 2nd and 3rd quarterback in most drafts. Unless the Jets like Wilson over Fields, I see him falling to at least pick 7, if not pick 9, as very likely. Rosseau, Chase, Sewell, Micah Parsons, Marvin Wilson are all likely gonna go top 10. Devonta Smith maybe too if he runs a 4.2 or low 4.3 dash (which he is really fuckin fast so he might.) Plus he’s from a lower level of competition, which will make some teams not sold on him. At least not enough to trade up.
i hope they pay him at least 6 figures just alone for the fact they make him wear those hideous khakis.
A few mocks I have had us taking Trey Lance but it was under the assumption that Wilson & Fields would go to New York & Detroit.
yea i know lol i drafted like 2nd to last in a 10 person league so i took henry first and then somehow jones slipped by.
