NFC West is gonna be a bloodbath next year outside of the continually falling Cards.

Are we about to see the LoB dissolve? How much cap space does Seattle have to work with?

I don't know the numbers for the cap, but I don't see a scenario where Thomas, Sherman, and Chancellor are all playing for the Seahawks next year. Hell I wouldn't be surprised to see more than 1 of them gone

Man, it must really suck to be screwed out of winning by more than ten points. Can't imagine how that must feel. When the Jags get screwed they get screwed out of games.

Also, Jimmy is the truth, Shanny is a god, and 49ers are 100 percent my second team hahaha.

Also everything hurts and I'm dying and I can't wait to lose to Tennessee two weeks in a row.

It kinda did suck considering JAX almost came back at the end.

I'm pretty sure Kam Chancellor isn't playing another down of football.

I'd be pretty curious to see Earl/Sherm away from Seattle. I have no doubts about Earl, he'd be good just about anywhere...I'm not as confident in the transition for Sherm (obviously depending on where he'd end up).

Earl Thomas is entering the final year of his deal next year at a 10.4M #. Dead money is only 1.9M. I think they definitely try to flip him prior to the draft.

The Jaguars lost over 100/160 games the last 10 years. But was the most painful loss I've watched in a long time. And even as I say that, I LOVED watching Garroppolo (more on that later). We fought back very well given the circumstnaces... that last TD against us on a 3rd & 8 misdirection run broke my fucking heart, such a beautiful playcall. Marrone had some nice tricks but he's not on Shanahan's level.

I'm not surprised we got a bad game from Bortles on the west coast, those are just two very Jaguars things to happen, Blake has been playing suspiciously well & was overdue for a collapse, and the last time we won on the west coast was THE YEAR AFTER WE CUT MARK BRUNELL. I'm more so surprised we came back from two-score deficits in the game TWICE without any of our starting receivers.

But these are the parts that really bother me:
    1) injuries - Cam Robinson is a player we can't lose. And we are now down to our 5th, 7th, & 8th wide receivers, wtf? Also, Fournette plays poorly when he's banged up, we should rest him until the playoffs since Yeldon has been playing well.

    2) our defense lost their cool multiple times in a game that was never actually out of reach. It shows their ego is too big from playing mostly bad offenses, you don't throw tantrums when you're down 14 points in the first half. They got too cocky and they didn't want to grind / take responsibility when they were getting beat. That's how you lose in the first round of the playoffs.

Jimmy Garoppolo is stupid good and I say this having watched all his games the past week. Nothing about those 44 points was a fluke, he just beat our fucking asses. Yes he passed all over the #1 pass defense. If anyone ain't paying attention to Jimmy G they better be.
-He actually does play like Tom Brady.
-His performance under pressure is... what is "pressure"? Does Jimmy G even know that word? He's playing 5-on-5 flag football.
-He might have the quickest release in the NFL and throws with shocking velocity. He threw right across Telvin Smith so many times over the middle, one 3rd-down conversion and one touchdown on plays Smith came inches from intercepting.
-His pocket presence is subtle and he knows his limits. But he's also not slow and he gets rid of the ball. Dude is hard to sack. I honestly felt proud of Yannick Ngakoue's speed when we got our one sack.
-He obviously knows what the fuck he's doing mentally, in a full scale west coast offense with multiple reads & strict timing.

Kudos @tkamB , your freshly rebuilt team is destined for success now that the young players have some experience. I've been saying a lot that you guys are the only team whose drafts I've liked more than ours, and trading for Jimmy Garoppolo is a literal MVP move.

We are not talking for 2 weeks if you start with this shit hahaha. This team is ending Tennessee's season next week. And the Jaguars earned and deserve the shit out of this division title. I absolutely do not want to play anxious devil's advocate this week.

The Rams just pumped me up so much today with that win, Todd Gurley might be my favorite non-Jaguar aside from Antonio Brown.

What happened to that guy who though Kyle Shanahan wasn't good enough to be the Jags coach?

Richard Sherman is in a similar spot. Final year, $13mil cap hit to $2mil dead cap. Kam Chancellor is actually the one they are least likely to cut based on money ($7mil dead cap on $9-10mil earning)

They need to go heavy draft on defense and buy Russell Wilson an o-line so he doesnt become Matt Stafford.

Bullshit, Shanahan never wanted to come here. You can’t assume not hiring him was our decision. We tried to interview him, he wanted that SF job.

Would be really cool if you didn’t look for every opportunity to blame things on a coaching staff / office that has done a good job. 3 of our 5 losses this year were Bortles throwing picks.

I think Kam retires. He's been suggesting that may happen...at least most of the Seattle beat guys think so.
