Since when does a after the whistle personal foul offset a penalty that happened during the play? Am I dumb for thinking both penalties would count?

Bucs had a holding penalty in the end zone. It was off set by a penalty after the whistle.

 

Star's penalty was so stupid that they deserved to have the safety taken away. That's my only explanation.

 

Jesus, was looking at Goff and Gurley's stats and then looked at the score. Wtf. Thought the Rams would be up by 30+ based on what Gurley has done.
