If they had the o-line of the Dalton era we might have a bigger window. 2015 is still the best Bengals team I've watched not counting this group.

For what it's the worth, the GM/ownership for Cincy has been light years than it was even a decade ago. Like, it's night and day. Looong ways to go but there's definitely been improvements.

That team was unreal. Still can’t believe Dalton went for that tackle instead of just letting the pick six happen

Brees is probably the best example of how many things need to go right to win. He had so many kicks at the can & won because Favre made the worst throw I have ever seen in my life. That and the Saints defense was insane at forcing turnovers that year. Still, he got back to the playoffs so many times with better teams around him & lost in some absolutely insane ways.

Same with Rodgers. All those NFC championship games. Only one Super Bowl appearance

It’s tough. He hasn’t looked good. But he’s also being coached by Joe Judge and Matt Patricia, so I’ll give him a pass this year.

I’d be happy with one. I do have an appreciation for how you need some luck to actually get there and win it

You can take Giovanni Bernard out of the Bengals, but you can't take the Bengal out of Giovanni Bernard

what I think gives Trevor a chance is he knows how to move in the pocket and throw himself out of trouble. He has been consistently showing that skill the last several weeks including today. He’s not always gonna avoid mistakes but lately he is showing he he can handle adversity when his offensive line / receivers are letting him down, and that’s the thing I’m most excited about. That is a GREAT sign for year two when most QBs are still dependent on the rest of the team winning their matchups to have success

Mac has sucked out loud today, easily most on his shoulders it's been since the bears game.

I did want to see a rematch against that Denver team after blowing the Monday night game. Probably would have gotten smashed by Carolina in the Super Bowl, though. Geno was great but he wasn't Von Miller.

That game against the Seahawks early that season sure felt like a super bowl
