Burrow is good enough to win a Superbowl but it's hard to win a super bowl . You need the perfect combo skill and luck. You need the right players and coaches. You need to play the right teams at the right time. I'll take the field over saying any individual player will win a super bowl.

Yeah Burrow is definitively great, but they’re gonna need way more than just him to win a Super Bowl, especially when he gets an extension

 

Idk, I think Lawrence and Burrow will both get one eventually. Most the best QBs end up getting at LEAST one

y’all can go eat sand if you think i crowned either of them two early. Neither is as good as Mahomes but both are good enough talents to steal a superbowl from a better team one day even if they don’t ever quite have a complete roster

I don’t think you crowned either of them early. My only question is…who thought either of them wasn’t going to be good? I mean, they were both universally praised leading up to both being taken first overall lol

 

Especially after all the competition in the playoffs just collapsed in comical fashion for the Bengals

 

The next 2-3 year is their best opportunity. The team is good enough that they can overcome the dysfunction of the front office but they also drop games early in the year because the coaching staff is so inexperienced & it takes until October for the new guys they bring in to gel. Saw it with the o-line this year. That and they've gotten so lucky with the skill guys they've drafted from big schools.

It is what they do sometimes. It's also not the first time they've looked like garbage in the first half but they usually keep it within a score so it's not such a tough uphill climb.

 

Yeah I’m not saying it’s a surprise that they’re good. I’m just saying talent that good stands a decent chance to win a SB in spite of the odds. I think they’re both gonna be better than Stafford and he won one

 

Being a great QB in a competent organization only guarantees you’ll have more playoff opportunities. It’s hard for me to look at a QB and be like “oh yeah. He’ll win a Super Bowl” bc shit gets crazy in the post season and nick Foles wins one and Jim Kelly and Dan Marino don’t.

 

I legit think Lawrence and Burrow are gonna be the next Rodgers and Brees, respectively. Their skillsets line up

Mahomes might be the next Brady, at the least he’ll have an even better career than Peyton

 

Absolutely, but I also think the deck is stacked against both of them more than other great QBs because of how incompetent those organizations have been historically from an ownership/GM level

 

& then Hurts and Lamar will also be considered elite when it’s all said and done, but in a new age way that’s not comparable to any past elite QBs except maybe Cunningham and Tarkenton (but I think Lamar will be better than both and Hurts also very well could)
