you’d think it would be obvious to be “right” about Trevor but you’d be surprised. It took until two weeks ago for people to stop saying they miss fuckin Bortles and / or Minshew

I still think he’s one of the best backup QBs in the league / could start for a couple of teams

but obviously when you have a chance to lose to the Jets and draft Trevor Lawrence… I hate tanking 92% of the time but that year it was the right call. We might have won 5 games with Minshew but the minute it was clear he wasn’t the answer I was glad they sat him

 

Completely agree and kudos to him for inevitably going to a team where he has a chance to start. Idk which team that will be, but he’s definitely one of the best backups in the league. Maybe the Cardinals sign him to remain competitive until Kyler returns from injury
