still wanna see him perform better downfield. Hes definitely earned another year, but protecting your safety from a lot of downfield responsibility is not something you can do all the time / not a long term answer. I mean I’ll have to revisit the film to confirm, but I really feel like that’s part of the reason we kept leaving Herndon on an island with Lamb whenever Lamb ran routes out of the slot. That’s what almost doomed this game as an L to begin with.

But we did make nice second half adjustments to take Lamb away so at least that was good. I just worry about us with teams that have TWO good receivers
