All of these things are true! Yet both teams made it to OT by scoring 28 points. So i don’t think one team should have to rely on ONLY defense in OT to have a chance to win.

I think more than anything it’s the opposite, one team - if they can execute on offense - doesn’t have to rely on their defense to win. I get seeing a problem with that, I don’t have one but I get it. But I feel like no one complains when either A. the defense makes the stop on drive 1 (which happens a lot!) or B. their own team’s QB starts with the ball. I think this was fair and good because we saw the Chargers make tons of stops tonight and they had opportunities to do so in OT too, and if they did the Chiefs woulda had to do the same thing with an included FG risk

Played Mahomes in one league and Ekler+edwards solaire in other.

Couldve been worse but the cards are on the table. No backdoor win this week. Gotta bring a game.

And chiefs win! So ya know. Woo. Gimmme that 1 seed

    The rivalry is back on

respectfully, if you guys collectively didn’t let him fall to pick 33 overall, this wouldn’t have been an issue

when I looked at the draft board, I also saw that pick swap trade we made ended up being Chase + Shenault for Mixon + Amari Cooper, which seems weirdly mutually beneficial in hindsight in a dynasty

    The rivalry is back on

Between the Chargers, Bills, Bengals, and Steelers losing, this was a very good bye week for IND, which sets us up nicely to have hopes as high as possible only for Brandon Bolden to run for 200 yards and 3 TDs in a rout over the Colts on Saturday

not that I don't agree with this, but what happened to the "we are not re-scheduling any games this year" stuff?

"If a club cannot play due to a Covid spike in vaccinated individuals, we will attempt to minimize the competitive and economic burden on both participating teams."

They wanted to be really clear that if a team was popping because they were 60% vaccinated than they were fucked, but, with all teams over like 90%, I dont think they really had another choice.

I feel like if this spike had happened in weeks 2-10 maybe games would have been postponed (very unlikely they would have been forfeited but who knows) but now with what, 3-4 weeks left they’ve got no real wiggle room with pushing out bye weeks and such. Anything significant now would move the playoffs and they aren’t gonna mess with that, they’ve always seemed adamant about that

And now they are trying to change the testing regime so that the playoffs arent at risk. If it goes through, basically if vaccinated players dont report symptoms, they dont get tested.

Which is probably fine if its done at the start of a year and players/teams can prepare around that. But doing it randomly at the first sign of an outbreak...
