One bright spot for the pats is their o-line has looked great in pass protection. The colts have been full go pass rush in the second half and have not gotten much pressure

Absolutely brutal. Michael Pittman gets 1 catch and im thinking, no biggie the other dude has mac Jones who has nothing, so a wash.

Mac 300 yards, 2 tds. And colts are rewarded by not passing ever and win.

 

If Buffalo wins tomorrow and beats NE next week I think Miami makes the playoffs winning out

Beating the Patriots for the first time in forever was sweet but I have zero interest in a rematch against playoff Belichick avenging getting out-coached on national television, so fingers crossed that someone else takes care of them before it can be an issue

 

Gonna be Colts versus Packers Super Bowl huh

 

Weird game for the Pats, just brutal mistake after brutal mistake to get down 17-0. The blocked punt, the hold to negate Jonnu's run to the 1, the offsides to negate the missed field goal...that's probably not even half of them haha. Slightly encouraging to see them crawl back in it, especially Mac who was a disaster for 2.5 quarters and ultimately finished with a couple really solid drives to both redeem himself and more importantly give the team a legitimate chance. I thought the defense played sneaky well for the most part. They looked completely lost on the Colts' first TD drive and obviously blew the play at the end where they sold out to stop Taylor, but did some nice work to keep the game within reach after the blocked punt TD and two really awful picks from Mac.

Not absolutely terrified of a Colts rematch - I think Wentz is pretty limited and that in itself makes them beatable - but disturbing as a Pats fan to see how dominant Indy was on both lines. Wouldn't be crazy to see them Taylor themselves to the Super Bowl, especially if the division breaks their way.
