I think I agree.

1) I think you keep AR another year because that’s when you start to see if there’s any payoff for taking his lumps
2) I lean towards his best chance of success being in the same offense for a second year and having some familiarity in concepts versus learning something net new so would keep Steichen but make him churn large portions of the offensive staff, and
3) prefer not pairing an incumbent HC with a new GM, so I could be swayed either way on this one but would reluctantly do one more year of Ballard with the intention of canning the entire crew if this doesn’t work next year and hopefully have Irsay do the thing where he self-destructs into having a top pick

 

I can’t believe after 30 years of fandom and 10 years of season tickets I had hope in the Lions. I should’ve known better.
