I still believe that opening night game in 2016 (2017?) after the Broncos won the super bowl changed the course of his career - Denver was head hunting all night and the refs called nothing

 

I don’t think anyone has said they shouldn’t do anything about it. They just haven’t lol

It’s kinda silly to act surprised when something happens always and nothing has happened to change it.

 

i never see the preferential patterns of calls people claim that certain qbs/teams get. seems like confirmation bias to me

Actually, Darnold is probably gonna be a good comparison. Came to a terrible franchise with middling talent and no O-line, a head coach with no ability to use him properly...he was always gonna fail. It just doesnt help that neither is better than a perennial backup QB in talent
