It’s weird Saquon decided to become a terrible running back. What a weird choice.

 

It’s become somewhat trendy in these situations to go for two after the first score rather than kick the XP and I personally hate that choice

 

That’s more when you’re down 14 with the idea being a 50% hit rate on 2 points. If you hit the first time, you skip the second and an extra point wins it. If you miss the first time, you’re more likely to hit the second time and tie it.

This situation is outside of that in that missing it results in it still being a two score game whereas kicking it makes it a one score game. An obvious decision that the eagles fucked in.
