I enjoy watching football was adverse conditions on television, but I gotta say you’d have to pay me to go in person.

I love wild football weather games. Would probably never go to one, but watch on tv? Oh hell yeah. Every time.

It’s like 40 years later and I still don’t know how anyone caught a pass in that fog game of Chicago vs Philly. Or maybe more on point how that wasn’t 100-100 since at least on offense you have a general idea when and where the ball is coming from but the defense doesn’t know know shit and can’t see shit

If Buffalo were located similarly to Pittsburgh, I'd feel differently. But the lake does weird shit to weather systems and it's just becoming more frequent

I would go to a snow game but I agree that going to a wind game would be awful lol

bundling up cause it’s cold is one thing, I can handle that, but wind cutting through all your clothes when you’re standing or sitting still fuckin SUCKS lol

The wind tunnels at MetLife were the worst damn experience of my life.

Yeah I’ve heard Gillette is a huge pain in the ass.

what’s even in Foxborough aside from the stadium? I see they put a shopping mall next to the stadium so it’s not COMPLETELY in the middle of nothing lol

Afaik not much just a commuter highway. It surprised me when I realized how much of eastern mass is very rural

I say that only as a guy I work with worked at Foxboro / Gilette in the 90's / early thousands and told me it's "Built right next to a strip mall"

I just don’t understand why they’d put the stadium so isolated haha.

At least Green Bay Wisconsin makes sense because the NFL started as a regional league in the upper Midwest (for example the Cardinals used to play in Racine WI) so it makes sense that smaller towns in the Midwest would still have heavy football culture

But I think they tried to make the stadium accessible for both Boston and Providence residents… but what they ended up doing, when you factor in traffic and the lack of mass transit, is making the stadium inaccessible for both cities lol

Yeah Foxboro is not great to get to. It’s a fine stadium overall and I like that it wasn’t publicly funded.

I did Gillette for the college lacrosse final 4, and my god does that whole experience blow. Cops are the worst, the walk to your car is a half marathon, and theres absolutely nothing nearby.

Compared to when it was at M&T Bank stadium which is a lovely experience overall, I'll take the 2% odds a homeless guy stabs me

  20. I like Heinz fields location. Can walk to it from downtown, take a boat from station square, there's a subway stop close by, etc

  21. Lambeau is dead ass in a normal neighborhood lol

you are an insane person if you take one of those boats. Park by the old Heinz plant. It’s one of the cheapest options, you can walk along the river and hit almost no traffic heading home.

yea pittsburgh has a very cool setup for their sports venues imo. scenic walk across the bridge from downtown. tbf though i did that in summer to go to a pirates game. that walk is probably like going to war late into football season lol. pnc park is beautiful btw. shame the owndership doesnt seem to care about the team

I was lucky enough to be in Pittsburgh when the pirates had the only good 3-4 year stretch in like 25 years. Those games were a lot of fun, and it’s the best ball park I’ve been to by far
