I feel like that doesn’t make sense for why the guys at the end of the line jump offsides. Wouldn’t those closest to the long snapper jump first? Guys at the end can’t even see the ball, can they?

 

Mariota is the biggest reason why Tennessee nearly lost to the Jets. He has terrible feet in the pocket and still can't seem to come off of his first read. He missed on a lot of easy throws today.

Todd Bowles and the inept offense called by Jeremy Bates gave this game to Tennessee.

It's Tanking Season.

 

It's a tell. If you know he does something with the ball and then snaps it two seconds later, you're going to try your best to time your jump.

I'd be willing to bet this tell has a lot to do with the Chargers hilariously bad kicking woes the last few years. Whoever is back there kicking or punting will always have guys in their face if the long snapper is giving away when he's gonna snap it.

 

Yeah including when Jalen Ramsey ripped the ball from TY Hilton before he hit the ground, and they still gave Hilton a CATCH, not even an incompletion

That was one of the worst catch calls I’ve ever seen. At the LEAST he didn’t complete the whole process of the catch...

imo that was a fucking interception. TY lost control of the ball before he was down, it never touched the ground and bounced into Ronnie Harrison’s hands, which he returned for a TD.

They called a pick six for the defense... a first down for the offense.

 

Hilton also got tackled backward a yard short of the line on a third down - Ramsey landed on him and his knee was clearly on the ground - but then he dives his upper body forward 1.5 yards. And they fuckin gave him forward progress AFTER his knee was down

Like, Ramsey fuckin dominated TY Hilton, and the refs tried really hard to give him yards anyway.

I’m happy with the win but the Jags stadium has fucking AWFUL officiating
