people are acting like dowdle is gibbs because he had two and a half very good games against bottom third of the league rushing defenses. niners have the 12th best rushing defense and 11th best DVOA. he simply isn't a very good running back that exploited bad teams. he isn't a bad running back but acting like the offense should revolve around him because of a month of football is definitionally not knowing ball

 

I feel like this season every time a team kicks the extra point and then a flag comes out, the said team fails on the 2 point conversion like clockwork

 

It’s so stupid to me the yard and a half is an automatic “oh we gotta go now!”

The 49ers are not a good rush defense, but if you want Bryce Young to continue throwing it despite the 49ers having a healthy secondary while having a decimated front seven, hey more power to ya.

I think Dowdle should keep getting the ball because it would benefit my fantasy football team, but I trust Patrick to be right on the football elements here. And even if not, I don’t care because I’m more focused on the 86 page thesis paper I’m writing explaining to David87 why his Star Wars rankings are fucking horrific.

you also have to split some carries with hubbard bc he's much better at pass blocking that dowdle so if you don't you run the risk of telegraphing the pass with hubbard out there. please learn ball.
