Minshew had to be good enough to win against the Texans to convince the team to keep their high cost FA QB on the bench. Had he won or come close to winning, today he’d be on the field but bombing that game gave them an excuse to follow the money.

I know but I think it was pretty clear that they were never going to let Minshew start once Foles was healthy. The move to Foles was really just to try to save Marrone and the FO their jobs. But whatever, I'll be glad to be hopefully moving on from them after this season.

Personally, even if we are losing, I'd rather be watching Minshew lead the team. Foles is so damn boring to watch.
