been seeing that a lot this week. Just curious...why?

 

partly that seahawks are pretty consistently a playoff caliber team. their defense may be weaker and they are definitely more overlooked now, but they are still more proven than the 49ers. tho mostly cuz i have infinitely more faith in russell wilson to win a tough game than jimmy g. ofc i could turn out to be completely wrong come monday. but, if i was in vegas rn i would definitely throw in some cash on the seahawks, can't really ask for a better underdog.

 

I think it’s because Wilson is probably the best player in the league and it’s extremely rare to go 16-0 so I think this is the best chance for the 49ers to lose their first game.

 

i would not say the best in the league but wilson has always been criminally underrated and is definitely a top 5 qb imo.

 

Wilson is currently #2 behind Mahomes imo
