It's a lot of stuff but strength of schedule and point totals come into effect and the niners are definitely better in point totals

Pretty sure if its just the two of them at 1-15, the Giants will get the #2 pick as head-to-head matters most.

So, 49ers fans have to root for a Cleveland win...though, odds are their point differential, etc will probably give them 3rd place anyway.

 

First determining factor is strength of schedule (from lowest to highest). Right now, it's different because SF hasn't had a bye yet, but theirs is higher than NYG and CLE.

Can't believe the Jaguars have actual swagger now.

The referees literally swung that game 14 POINTS in the Chargers favor:

-one chargers TD because the most obvious OPI/pick ever wasn't called.... right before halftime too

-one Fumble TD taken off the board for us, even though the call on the field was a TD, and there was ZERO video evidence he touched anyone before getting up. We still got the ball but Bortles threw a pick after that.

The Chargers also tried to run the clock out TWICE when they were up by 3 with less than 2 minutes remaining.

Our defense overcame ALL THIS,
-took the fucking ball on the first attempt to run out the clock, on FIRST DOWN which helped us save our timeouts...
-then after Bortles tried to lose us the game with an INT... they got 2 TFL and a 3 and out on the second attempt, which saved us a minute on the clock since we still had all our timeouts
-2 TFL and a 3 and out on the Chargers only overtime drive, on the 10 yard line, giving us the field position we needed.

And fuckin stole this game.

I love the Jags defense right now so much. Ramsey, Bouye, and Telvin Smith all played lights out. We scored 7 offensive points up until the game tying and game winning field goals at the end... and still won.

 

Like our defense is quite literally winning us games.

 

how the jags are built right now, it reminds me how the vikings started building once zimmer came in. they mainly focused on the defense in the first few years and then gradually started adding offensive pieces later on.
